OMG. I used to wear vests in grade 9. Seriously. I thought I was super cool and creative. Those WO hicks had nothing on me!
It was probably the same dance that i in grade 9 got caught for under age drinking....but no, i recall the safety pins in my pants to make the bottoms smaller, yes grade 9, the memories!!! Life seemed all too simple then and now look at us all, mothers!!! who would have thought!!
I, too, wore pins in my pants. I had four pins especially for the purpose...then I got smart and just started tappering all my pants on the sewing machine. Isn't it funny that as soon as the jeans makers realized that skinny pants were cool and started making them that way, that teenagers decided flares were the way to go?
Oh, man. Me too. And I was no fashionista. (I'm still not. But let's not talk about that.)
