It's neat to work in an old renovated warehouse/factory but MY GOD the air conditioning is on really high and I could use my winter coat and a hot hot cocoa!
Things just keep getting better and better - and after 3 particular incidents that I can pack squarely away in the 'bad luck' category, the good times are finally here and I am loving every minute of it.

We had a bad luck day last Wednesday--what was your bad luck???
I've had three over the past 6 months:
- the passing of my beloved Dockers
- the theft of my vehicle
- my backing into a car in the parking lot (they were backing up as well).
What was yours?
Note: some of my bad luck WAS a direct result of my own stupidity, but because the impeccable timing of two of the incidents was so seemingly 'fated' I've marked them as bad luck.

We went to the Princess to watch the Mommies and Movies instead of the Princess Twin (mum's fault),and when we finally figured out it was the Princess Twin, we find out that instead of Cars, they were playing Scoop, which would have been totally unsuitable for Zoe. Then we went to Scholar's Choice to take advantage of 20% off on Teacher Appreciation Day and it's for 'members'only. Then we went to the Waterloo Splash Park to cool off and there were no less than 100 day-campers in the picnic area, screaming camp songs at the top of their lungs (scaring the bejeebers outta Kate). Then we called you to visit and you weren't home :( and then we called Tara to get our copy of X-men back so Zoe could watch it and THEY weren't home. Nothing went right that day. But we had a super-duper fun day at Niagara Falls the next day, so apparently our bad luck ran out. OMG there is no wood to knock on, why must everything be made of plastic and metal in my house?
